Hire overseas from a Chinese headquarters, with local employment on the ground.
Chinese companies expanding abroad often need a local legal employer before a subsidiary is ready. Farlinko coordinates overseas employment in the employeeβs country and plans the case in Chinese and English.
The Chinese company directs the work; a local employer carries the employment
An Employer of Record in the work country signs the local employment contract, runs local payroll, and administers statutory obligations. Your headquarters selects the person, sets priorities, and owns the business result.
Defines the job, compensation range, and selected person
Reviews local feasibility and required contract terms
Approves commercial inputs
Issues the local employment document
Funds the agreed employment cost and fees
Calculates pay, deductions, and employer contributions
Manages performance and business priorities
Administers leave, changes, and local employment support
This is not a secondment from a Chinese labour contract into another country unless that structure is separately designed and lawful in both places. Most outbound cases are new local employment in the work country.
Work authorization, IP, payroll funding, and tax presence sit on different tracks
Language support helps the planning conversation. It does not replace local employment, immigration, or tax rules.
Work authorization
A Chinese passport does not create a right to work in the destination country. Confirm visa or pass category, sponsor, and processing time before the offer date.
Intellectual property
Local employment contracts and assignment language must cover the work product. Parent-company templates from China do not automatically govern local IP.
Funding and invoices
Agree who pays the EOR invoice, in which currency, and which internal approvals are required. Cross-border payment rails are a finance control, not an employment shortcut.
Tax presence
Employees who sign contracts, keep a local office, or generate local revenue can raise corporate-tax questions. EOR employment administration does not close that analysis. See EOR and permanent establishment.
